This is not a unique monster, it is part of a large extended family of leviathans that live a few miles from my home! Many are close to a meter long and draw large crowds of people who bring children and grandparents to view them feeding. As there is no fishing allowed, these kings of the lake will continue their reign for a very long time! You can view them by visiting Burnby Hall Gardens, Pocklington.
There is also, arguably, the worlds largest collection of water lilies at the gardens, even I am impressed with them.
